I saw a green MixMaster on an auction site the other day....pity that the sale was the day before....yikes...missed it by that much...it probably went for more than what I was willing to pay anyway...and I shouldn't be greedy I already have one....the Vacola kit...yes...had a stovetop one that I used to use when I lived interstate but for some reason it didn't make it over here....pity....it was useful! and the house...well the bank has a bigger stake in ours than we do at the moment.....LOL....but one day we will own a bit more .....but I will have to work until I am 70 I think!!
The mixmaster looks exactly like my Mum's old one. I'm lucky enough to have a reproduction one my man bought for me some time ago. Mum's disappeared during an interstate move. Moving men are not to be trusted I think.
I got Dh a mixer like that a while ago from one of those boards they often have up in shopping centres.I think it only costs us about $100??? maybe check out local garage sales, ebay, trading post??
and thank you for visiting. I love reading your comments and I will attempt to reply to them all but if you are a 'no reply' blogger I will not be able to. In this case I will try really hard to visit your blog :) l x

I'm with you on the mix master not sure about the Vacola kit. We will have to start staking out the second hand shops.

I'm pretty lucky, having two out of the three, but I really want a Fowlers Vacola, I'm saving my money for that or a dehydrator.
take care
Pip
