What were you doing on 29/1/94???

Were you watching Steffi Graff win the Australian Open?

Were you watching the Australia Day Test in Adelaide or on TV?

I'll tell you what I did on this warm, balmy Saturday.

I gave birth to Emily on this day, and it was the day my life changed forever. She was perfect in every way and we were so happy that she came to us.

Learning golf secrets from her dad at 3mths.

On waking up from a long nap - 5mths.

Summer of 1999/2000

When she was 8 and had just become a big sister for the first time.

2007 in Melbourne.

I don't think I will ever forget this day.

Oh, and incidentally, I (and David and my obstetrician) watched the tennis and the cricket whilst I was in labour and I think it was when I was in transition that I was ready to throw a brick through the TV!

Happy 14th birthday Emily - may your life continue to be blessed with good health, happiness, love and friendship.

Happy Birthday Emily!

England were winning the cricket in August 97 when I was having Dorothy and were playing football in the World Cup in June 2000 whilst I was having Fred. I love cricket but HATE football with a passion so you can imagine Mr Locket's surprise when I yelled at him for turning it OFF!!!!!

I think I was working very hard to get some projects done while studying in art school on 29/1/94.... How time flies!
We watched the men’s final of the Australian Open 2008 yesterday! Some finale!

Best wishes to the sweet birthday girl Emily! I hope you had a fantastic day!!
I would have been glued to the tennis for sure! I was at home a lot after just getting married in Dec and flat broke!!
I'm a huge tennis fan.. and also watched it every day in hospital after having my youngest Jem in '99.

What a kind face she has.
And I'm sure I was doing nothing of such significance in Jan '94, as bringing a brand new life into the world! (actually, I don't think I was doing ANYTHING of any significance!)
