She made it herself!

Emily is getting into the Christmas spirit. She is at her most productive when she is up to her ears in assignments and swatting for end of year tests. This is the snowman that she made one night - isn't he gorgeous!

Yes! He is gorgeous! My kids have been busy making things too! Of course, they have all finished at school now and are just getting into some heavy-duty relaxing!

He's fantastic! IS he staying, or a gift?

I'm so glad to hear she's getting back into craft. Life is so hectic at this time of the year, and she leads a very busy life!

what an amazing creation...
I think sometimes when you are super busy, creating something helps you meditate a little from the sidelines. If that makes sense?

At first glance I thought he was a penguin, with earmuffs, (rotfl) then I realised it was a snowman.
Well done Emily.

ooh, 10lb? eeep! lucky you had the water to help everything move smoothly along.
your kids' crafting is so good! i grew up making things, and the skills transfer across so many fields, the sewing will be great for your sons' spatial skills too, even if they choose not to pursue a craft/sewing career. so good on you for encouraging it! also, good to keep them grounded in 'hands on' skills as well as all the computer ones that the next gen is going to need.
